These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GutterForge website (gutterforge.com) and the gutter protection services provided by GutterForge ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Janesville, Wisconsin. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years of age to use our website, opt in to receive SMS communications, or engage our services. By using our services, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.

Services

GutterForge provides professional gutter protection services including but not limited to:

  • Gutter guard installation (micro-mesh, reverse curve, screen)
  • Seamless gutter fabrication and installation
  • Gutter repair and maintenance
  • Soffit and fascia repair and replacement
  • Gutter cleaning
  • Ice dam prevention systems
  • Downspout and drainage solutions

All services are performed by trained professionals in accordance with applicable building codes and manufacturer specifications.

Estimates and Quotes

  • All on-site estimates are provided free of charge with no obligation.
  • Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date provided unless otherwise stated in writing.
  • The final price may change if the scope of work changes after the estimate is given (e.g., additional damage discovered during installation). Any changes will be discussed and approved by you before work proceeds.
  • Estimates are based on conditions visible at the time of inspection. Hidden damage or structural issues discovered during work may require additional charges.

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of work unless financing has been arranged.
  • We accept cash, personal checks, business checks, and all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover).
  • Financing options are available through our lending partners on approved credit. Financing terms are governed by the separate agreement between you and the financing provider.
  • A deposit may be required for large projects. The deposit amount will be specified in your written estimate.
  • Late payments may be subject to interest charges as permitted by Wisconsin law.

Warranty

GutterForge provides the following warranty coverage:

  • Workmanship warranty: We warrant our installation work for the lifetime of the product. If our installation fails under normal conditions, we will repair it at no cost.
  • Product warranty: Products we install carry the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty terms vary by product and will be provided to you at the time of installation.
  • What is not covered: Damage caused by acts of nature (falling trees, severe hail), unauthorized modifications, neglect, or normal wear and tear beyond the product's rated lifespan.

Scheduling and Cancellation

  • Installation dates are scheduled by mutual agreement and are subject to weather conditions.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any schedule changes due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
  • You may cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 48 hours notice at no charge.
  • If work has already begun, cancellation terms will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

By opting in to receive SMS/text messages from GutterForge, you agree to the following terms:

Description of SMS Use Cases

  • Appointment reminders: We will text you reminders about upcoming estimate appointments and scheduled installation dates.
  • Estimate follow-ups: After providing you with a free estimate, we may follow up via text to answer questions or confirm your decision.
  • Service updates: During active projects, we may text updates about scheduling, crew arrival times, or weather-related changes.
  • Promotional messages (with separate consent): Seasonal gutter maintenance tips, special discounts, referral offers, and company news.

Opt-Out Instructions

You can stop receiving text messages from GutterForge at any time using any of the following methods:

After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message. Opting out of SMS will not affect any other services you receive from GutterForge.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS messages sent to and from GutterForge, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. GutterForge is not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier. Contact your carrier for details about your text messaging plan. Messages are sent from a standard 10-digit phone number. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Wisconsin law:

  • GutterForge's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • We are not liable for pre-existing conditions not visible during our initial inspection.
  • Our website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind regarding accuracy, completeness, or availability.

Insurance and Licensing

GutterForge maintains general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Proof of insurance is available upon request. Our team members are trained professionals who follow all applicable safety standards and building codes.

  • All content on gutterforge.com (text, images, logos, design) is the property of GutterForge and protected by copyright law.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
  • Information on our website is for general informational purposes and does not constitute professional advice for your specific situation.
